I finally got to protect my Tetrapanex trunk. I removed the temporary protection and constructed this which has a string of small christmas lights. I hope it works. Note the Cycad is mostly green still with alow of 20F. We hit 19F after......I'll have to recheck to see if it's still green. I need to still protect the half dead Wollemi, Cycad and Citrumelo.<img srcsrcsrc

I am ready to explore the world of tetrapanex...What is the best way to grow? Should I buy seeds or plants online? How quickly do they take off if grown from seed??

Hey Jim......that orange was a Poncirus trifoliata.....nice test for your area.....especially this year! 8)

Hey Mike......if you find Tetrapanax seed let me know.....that would be cool to grow from seed. But I'd get an offshoot from the mother plant. If you can't find one let me know and in summer I'm sure I'll have a few more pups..........unless this brutal winter kills it! 😯
