I don't have any in the ground right now. Stan the citrus man from McKenzie farms is sending me a mix of rare cold hardy citrus seeds. 😀 So maybe in a couple of years i will have some planted.

I have grown successfully for years meyer lemons. I just picked one tonight and squeezed some of the juice on my barbqued salmon.
They are hardy to about 15F but the fruit is destroyed at 24 to 28F, When I do get cold I just throw a comforter over top of it for protection from the frost, otherwise it thrives here. It has never been inside!!!
It flowers all year and produces fruit all year also.

I checked your pics out, and your lemon tree is very cool! I liked the form of the tree and the flowers are very nice, but what I would give to have one of your big trachies! Very nice yard pics!

I love this site. However, I am looking for a dwarf pgymy date palm to use in the church for Palm Sunday, and wish they could include any pictures of palms they have available, if they do have any this early in the year. Every other thing about thhis site is perfect. 😆 😆 😆 :lo 😆 😆 😆

Nice site! Good work. Too bad he's not on Florida. Unfortunately for us, we can only buy "homegrown" citrus and that's getting harder as well. Due to the citrus canker, and now Citrus greening disease, the quarantine on all citrus is becoming very oppressive here. Many mature trees in South FL are being destroyed, and its becoming harder to transport citrus even over county lines here.
I have grown Pink Variegated Lemon, Meyer Lemon, and Calamondin in the ground here for about 15 years. I had to leave a mature 9 ft Calamondin tree and a 6 ft Meyer Lemon at my old house when we moved about 3.5 years ago...I have since replanted new trees here but they are nowhere near the size my old ones were. I also have a little containerized Key Lime tree.
