Hello,
I have several Musa Basjo I separated from the parent plant. All came with several long roots. I have planted them but was told not to water for a week. Is this right? They are already showing signs of shock.

It could likely be that there isn't enough root system to support the top growth, not to mention the shock of being severed. Moderate watering is fine during this period. Keep them out of durect sunlight and ease them in once they've adjusted.

Cheers, Barrie.
