Musa Basjoo is busted, help!

I don't know how but one of the newer leaves of my Musa Basjoo was bent the wrong way to the point where it was just hanging there. I tried to prop it up and all but it was no use. I cut it off cause it was blocking the new shoot coming up.
Is that ok or did I just kill it or something.

Ya, thats a great idea. I have been bringing them in the house. They seem to really like being in the house, they grow like weeds!! Outside they stop growing. I dunno!
If i head down to S.C would you want anything?

Jus kiddin..Were usually down a few times a year however...not likely till July this year..
