A lot of these bananas will be planted next spring. I was hoping to sell more of them this year. Most are already over 10ft. tall and won`t go in my garage next year. They should be over 14ft+ next season planted. If you have one Musa basjoo you will have them for life. Easy to get more off the mom.

My garage gets too cold. I'm obligated to pot em up in 20 litre tubs and haul em into the house.
I like your travellers palm, Ravenala madagascariensis. How tall is that one? Mine is behind me in our dining room... 8 foot tall at six tears old.

Adam that bird of paradise you seen is near 12 ft tall. You must have a sore back moving yours into the house. 😆 Any pics?

Sore back? Let me tell you! 😳
Letting all bananas die this year. Buying new ones cheaper than the alternative....

Erik thanks for the comments. I will be letting 90% of my basjoos die back next year. They should come back in the spring. I`ll check flickr for the friend request.

I can vouch for the mass of that BOP (and the musas).
The BOP container needs a forklift to move it.

I up-potted mine as you suggested John (but I was hoping for flowers from a "tight pot").

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
