Anyone grow Amorphophallus?

Im getting some of these, namley Amorphophallus Konjac and symonianus. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these guys?

I've always wondered about these plants......keep us posted on yours.

Their interesting. Kojac is hardy to zone 6 or 7 ( if kepts fairly dry), have those sexy leaves, and in a few years a giant flower that smells like rotten meat. Werid, smelly, huge, fairly hardy.... and where it isnt hardy, you can dig it up like other aroids/bulbs etc... what more could you ask for??

The other one, is a bti harder to find info on, but Kojac theres tons of info on. Its used in food.
