When I planted my yuccas outside last year they were big and healthy and just a lush green with a golden sword.
But now they are yellow brown, No green they are dry and and they are chewed by rabbits.
But what caused it?? The winter! Im lucky I have seeds.
I can't belive it! I only have one plant left which is my hosta. Total of $950.00 of pricey plants
gone now 🙁
You have my sympathies. I sometimes wonder whether it is worth it to put more $ in the ground. I am beginning to look at grass again.
I don't know yet how many I will lose but it could get ugly.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps
Well I am going to plant a few more plants like a Jack in the Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum)
I just hope it does well.
I will show photos of the yuccas.
It was 21C yesterday and it did not help any yuccas.
Well Im not giving up yet.

We just got keep trying and keep our fingers crossed.
someday we will have no problems with exotic plants.
Sorry to hear about your plant losses. 🙁 Most of the time y. filamentosa will grow back from the roots.
Regards,
Jay
This plant is like weed in my yard. I have dug them up numerous times figuring I have all of the roots and before I know it I have another plant growing.
They will regrow for sure.

Oh my God, what a shame...is there a chance they'll come back? I sure hope so.
I share your pain.
