Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Those look awesome! So far i have only managed to keep two seedlings alive out of the 5 seeds that i had. I have that when they trunk they lose hardiness?

Completely not true 🙄 they are even more hardy with age 😀 What happens is they are better at taking water from the ground, and so can rot if placed in a bad location 🙁 Same with most any desert plant 🙂

Sounds good. 😀 I just heard they lost hardiness. Now i'm even more eager for them to grow and stick them in the ground.

Love that Y.brevifolia you have. I once tried one years ago, but it didn't like the Winter wet. I have another I grew from seed two years ago. I had a friend collect me the seeds at Joshua Tree park in California. I still have it in the greenhouse, but I will eventually plant it out in the next year or two. Banana Joe

Wes/Jay, I did lose the one in the pic, it was starting to trunk and had been there a couple of years maybe three? It is ok though... I will try a Y. faxon in the same spot.
