What types of cacti and yuccas are you going to try this year? So far i have some y. torreyi, y. schidigera.
y. bacacta, y. rostrata and y. brevifolias seedlings to try out. I would like to try out some larger sized yuccas like rostratas and if i can find some elatas.
As for my cacti garden i already have these cacti to plant:
Echinocereus triglochidiatus v. mojavensis, Opuntia basilaris, Escobaria leei, Escobaria vivipara, Escobaria vivipara v. buoflama, Echinocereus x roetteri and Mammillaria wrightii. 😀
Regards,
Jay
I have some Opuntia chlorotica hybrid cactus, a dasylirion longafolia, and jumping cholla to try this year. 😀

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

What would be some good yuccas for first time yucca growers, especially living in a warm zone 6 (or am I in a cool zone 7)?
Who wouldn't want free pie and chips?
My top three pics would be #1-Y. Brevifolia (Joshua tree),#2- Y. Rostrata, and #3- Y. Recurvifolia. But I don't think you would have a hard time growing most all of the North American yucca species :D.
A dry zone 6 or 7 is a perfect zone for groing Yuccas 😀
