I dug up a yucca that grows like weeds out in Western Kansas.
It's "leaves" are very thin, none over the width of a pencil, are very long, VERY VERY VERY sharp, have little hair, and do sucker. Some even sucker and grow out and up, almost like a Joshua tree.

OK, I think it is a Glauca.
My problem is, when I dug it up, it's root went WAY too deep, which from what I just read can go 30' deep.
My problem is, I broke the root when transplanting. Also, I read where it can not survive without the moth.
It's leaves are yellowing, is it dying????

Looks like a Glauca but hard to tell from the pic. It's probably in shock from the transplant. I don't think glauca has that long of a tap root? As long as you got a lot of root then it should recover and grow for you. It won't die without the moth. The yucca moth pollinates the yucca.

Regards,
Jay
