Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

That's some very cool desert landscaping Aaron! Thanks for the link.
How well do you think those yuccas will transplant-I'm assuming most of those are transplanted from far warmer winters (in addition to the difficulty of transplanting, especially, y.brevifolia, in general)?
Thanks 8) !

I guess they have done good with the transplanting. They have been there a few years now and I hear they are doing good. I hear before they planted the big y. faxons they had big saguaros but they did not last long. 🙄 😀

Awesome looking landscaping!
I'm really impressed that specimens from warmer places would transplant so nicely. Very cool to see. This bodes well for the hardy yucca hobby. We need to get some trunking yucca transplants up to the folks in the Okanagan 8) !
Thanks for the cool post Aaron!

I would love to see something like that in the Okanagan area. The south-west keeps heading north. 😆 😀

Yeah, That would be cool. There are some trunking yuccas around here in the Okanagan but not like those. 🙂
Aaron thanks for the pics. I would love to get some of those huge Yuccas here in the Okanagan Valley.Times are a changin though. The city of Kelowna is starting to buy some larger palms. Next year I`m bringing in some 20 gal. Joshua trees from a friend in So.Cal. Maybe Jay will be interested and Barb?

The giant Oroville, WA elata is proof that many of the hardier trunking yuccas should survive in the Okanagan or will, at least, have a good shot.
Dear John,
Please don't forget me on your J-Tree order list 😀 ! Everybody on this forum needs one plant that they spend an obsessive amount of time and effort protecting. Thanks!

That subdivision is amazing Aaron! They sure did spend some coin to make it look like that, I hope it pays off! It sure does look nice.
