Desert Zone had some suggestions for me under the subject Cactus Garden Work.

The Cylindropuntia kleiniae, Escobaria missouriensis and the Echinocactus texensis impressed me but I have no idea where to buy them.

I'm going to check with The Devonian gardens who grow some unusual plants in Edmonton. They don't have much of a cactus, yucca or palm section, But....

Allen

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

You guys should check out http://www.rockgardenplants.com

They have lots of cold hardy cacti and are located in BC. Real nice guy who owns it. 😀 The only thing is the min. order is $50 + shipping. Which is alright because you get a lot of cacti for $50.

Regards,
Jay

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks jay It has alot of cactus zoned 3 4 5 6. Allen I been looking around for cactus and no luck. There is nothing at the nurserys and there are no cactus native to here. Allen if you find cactus in a forest like a native one you can always dig one out.But it is dangerous because of pricklys. But I can be wrong If somebody owns that area where cactus is growing dont do it.
Allen instead of digging one out you can get seeds from them. Or you can order one off that site jay showed us 🙂
