Hi Barb
All yuccas and some agaves being without protection all winter.
I protected only sensitive plants or new.

All the websites/information always say to protect against any wetin the crown during cold weather.
Yet your pictures seem to dispute that.

Your third photo shows the yucca rostrata? brevifolia? still growing through the snowfall! 😯

Your yuccas are astonishingly beautiful! Now that I own 3 sizes of y.rostrata (seedling to 2nd year to 5 year...the big one), I'm going to grow agaves next. But I doubt I'll find any as beautiful as yours.

First snowfall here today...only 2 cm.

How do you like your linearifolia? I was thinking of getting one, and was wondering how they do through cold weather? 🙂
