This aloe can take zone 5 conditions. I just found out. Some sites could say zone 6 or 5 but its very cold hardy. Has anyone grown this hardy plant?
They are cool plants! I have had some in the past but a different kind. They are not true aloes but look like them 🙂

I wouldn't mind trying some myself. I have found one site that says Zone 3 but I think that it is wishful thinking.
How about Parry's agava-- agava parryi. It should be good in Zone 5
