Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

😀
These are really cool succulents, mine have, well ,just look at how much they grew this year even though they had to root first ,I started with 4 pieces like the one in first pic(4") and you can see the clump in center of second pic(maybe 12"x12"),biggest prob with these is keeping them from taking over!

Hey D.zone I am curious what yours look like in cold weather,we had our first freeze last night and it was a cold one!got down to at least 24F and my imbricata looks like it almost turn to mush and the arms look like they wanted to detach, could it be that these were to wet still?I would have put money on these to be one of the most cold hardy succulents I have.

Mine start to droop and look like they are going to die, they may even get some winter burn, but have always pulled through in the spring. 😀 In your area I would make sure they are in very fast draining soil. 😉

Very cool!
Looks like a Y. Brevifolia. I assume it's just as hardy, or hardier?

Thanks for the feedback DZ,it looks better allready,I could actually see little gaps at the junction of the branches and main stem like it was ready to cut the branches loose. The plan is to put the rain cover on before next rain, allready lost my E.viridiflorus to a wet summer,I think next year I will plant any new barrels on a mound as this seems to dry better, its been an extremely wet year!
Cowtown-not sure which plant your reffering to,if it is the large yucca in the pic, that is Y.aloifolia
