This is for all the yucca nuts out there. What kinds of yucca are you growing and how many do you have? Do you take any special care or use any protection methods to get marginal types for your area through the winters? Inquiring minds want to know.

4 filamentosa and 1 recurvifolia.
No protection required here for these species.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I understand Casino tropics in Surrey has received a hugh shipment of trunking yuccas. I hope to swing by in a couple of weeks to check it out. Michael Ferguson picked up a 4' rostrata from them. :walk:

Hey Wes,

That's cool. 😀 Let me know how much $ the rostratas are going for and what other kind of trunking yuccas they have.

Regards,
Jay

To ship intp Canada you require a phyto certificate. They cost about $40.00 and the plant has to be inspected. Check with your customs people down there.

Yah, I hear it can be a hassle to import plants sometimes. It might be worth driving down and picking some up?

Aaron i just sowed about 50 more yucca seeds today. 😀 Your rostrata seeds you sent me are growing fast and they are on their fifth leaf already. :toothy7:
