One of the reasons nursuries don't carry Y. Elata is because their roots get so big. 😯

Jay good article on the adaptability of Yuccas. I was really surprised by how they survive on the desert sand dunes. They are one tough plant . Although Palms are my favorite Yuccas are gaining ground fast.
