Echinocereus coccineus 2005

I think it strange that I have had these plants for a few years now and this year they burn almost all to the ground. It was a mild year and only got a min of -3.6F. These same plants have seen -8F in past winters with very little burn. 🙄

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

A different coccineus sp., it grows very fast and is over a foot tall now. It finally started to grow more stems out of the ribs. 🙂 It made it through last winter, but with some winter burn.
