What kind of plant is this?
Wes North Vancouver Zone 8b/9a
Keats Island BC Zone 8a
Palm Springs CA Zone 9b/10a
They are a yucca related plant from mexico 🙂 They don't get very big, but have a cool growth at the base of the plant.

No, they just grow a interesting root ball at the bottom of the plant, there is a special name for the root ball but I can think of it right now. I also think they are closer related to dasylirions than yuccas 😳
