I think it was 42F last night...this spring has been strange...
lots of cold intrusions and below normal temps.
I may try and get some Castor bean plants in the ground today-
they will enjoy the forecast 80s to low 90s. 😀

Going to be at least 3 new kinds of cactus flowers,some I have only seen bloom once before.....
one is Salmon colored and one blood red-don't even know what the other looks like.....
Should be the best cactus flower display so far!
Looking forward to seeing the Claret cup flower,I think it only bloomed once...maybe the first year.

The cactus really balloon up this time of year,pretty great combo of heat and moisture here.
I just did plant my Castor beans the other day....planting instructions for Castor beans....
dig hole,place plant in hole...water-STAND BACK.
