Spectacular collection,everything looks great.
I love the Black Thai banana -is that in a pot still?

Thanks Jim, the black Thai was in the ground but in an aweful spot and would not grow. So hopefully next year I find the perfect sitting for it.
A few more.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks DZ.
Update on some winter purchases and agave bloom.

That bloom is total eye candy, Chad.
Everything looks so healthy in there...

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Thanks Barb,
I have been hoping that keeping it inside would slow it down. Not sure I could handle a 15' bloom stalk right now. Fingers crossed that agave Mitis Nova goes into bloom this spring also. I would love a chance to cross the two.
A great selection of Agaves you have Chadec 😀 Am I seeing correct but is that $100 US for Agave Albopilosa? 😯

Thanks Andy and no you're not seeing wrong. That particular agave was much larger till it came inside and has since lost several leaves. I now have 7 albopilosas in my collection. Love those little guys. Now if I can just score a varigated ovatifolia, but everyone I bid on sells for over 450$ US.
You have lots of nice agave and yucca, there. I think I saw some manfreda, also. Those eucomis should be winter hardy for you. They have cool blooms that last a very long time.
Thanks,
This will be the first year for me actually testing eucomis, manfreda and crinum in the ground. I have always dug em up in years past. Hopefully they will be hardy, manfreda spot was blooming when the first frost killed it back.
Awesome collection!
I have seen a bunch of those Medio Picta Alba across the street 😀
I got a bunch of pups off one plant-one was even all green.
<img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/big2_cond/language/www/US/IA/Fairfield.gif" alt="Click for Fairfield, Iowa Forecast" border="0" height="60" width="468" />
Jim,
I really love those media picta alba. They most certainly revert back to their non variegated form. If your lucky you can catch a plant with a full albino pup. You just won't be able to separate it. Made that mistake on a larger yellow agave. 🙁
