Paul did such a nice job with his post from the southwest it inspired me to look up more post of the area. I found this and thought I would share.

yes, Ian did a great job documenting his journey's. My seed grown Y. elata v verdiensis is from Ian.

Tim- His pictures of the veridensis led me to explore the same region in 2008. Those Yucca are incredible! I think he still owes me seeds actually...

What is the diff between Y. elata and verdiensis? I have seen I very cool pop. of y. elata south of Wikiup AZ, is this verdiensis?
