We had good summer for Yuccas with many days up to 90F, and one day over 100F. Now is pretty cold here.

Here is some of Yuccas

Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata'. This one bloomed last fall and produced this summer two new heads.

Yucca glauca two years old from seed and Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata'

Yucca gloriosa

Yucca rostrata and in background Y. recurvifolia

Yucca glauca and Yucca rostrata

Yucca aliofolia

'Variegata' first year in ground
[/

Yucca baccata

Yucca neomexicana

Yucca rupicola

Yucca torreyi

Yucca arizonica

Yucca arizonica and small seedling of Yucca campestris

Yucca recurvifolia

Yucca recurvifolia and Y. flaccida/filamentosa 'Brigh Edge'

Y. filata 'Big Mama' x reverchonii-thompsoniana or Y. rupicola from Tim Behan. 8th months old

Henoh, spectacular growth this summer.
Admiring the color of rostrata especially and the 2-headed gloriosa variegated.

Your 8 month old seedling is bigger than some of my 2 and 3 year olds. 😕

Good work.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Hello Henoh,

Great looking Yuccas you grow in your garden.

The two Yucca rupicola looks very much like Yucca reverchonii, they could of course be an intermediate form of the two.

Best wishes

Benny

Hello Benny,

There is always possibility of genetic introgression of other species. My seeds came from Mesa Garden #1999.5-rupicola /17/ Ozona, Tx. They are still young so they will might change appearance in future.

Best regards,

Mario
