Anyone ever grown Yucca nana? I got one in the mail today plated it in my cacti garden. They are cute little yuccas and look kinda rugged.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Good I hope it doesn't die, is it invasive?

No, but the ones I have like to sucker, so I moved them and now they keep coming up from the roots. And I have pulled them many times. 😆

Well I dunno how well it will do here. Mine is growing in sand in a raised bed so it should be easy to yank if it gets too out of hand.

I've tried 2 here, both rotted out over the winter. It has the typical western-type Yucca moisture tolerance.

Aaron,

that is the best looking nana I have ever seen!!! What a nice fat trunk.

Y. nana does very poorly in my climate. It will slowly die over 3 to 4 years. I'm not sure why. It's not the cold......it must be our excess humidity since we are close to the ocean??

I have to dig up a few small suckers, I would gladly send you a few! I don't think you can kill these! My friend at the Denver BG has a big one there, looks almost like a small j-tree. 😀

Looking awesome! This is the species I'm looking for but no luck here so far. Bought two pcs., but it turned out to be some gloriosa hybrids, despite what seller said.
