Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Is that at your place? I've seen them in Vegas and St. George, but not anywhere else. ANy idea of the hardiness, or where its found naturally?

I have not put it through a winter yet, but I hear they are just as hardy as rostrata. They are found in the same area as y. rostrata in the wild and some belive to be the same plant? They look just like rostrata but with grass like leaves. 8) 😀

Hi Aaron,

Did your Y. linearifolia die? Do you think it will survive in my climate? I've always wanted to try a mature specimen but have not. I've killed a few 2 year old specimens..........I was hoping the larger ones were hardier.

Mine died after the first winter, covered. I wonder if it was a true linearifolia, could have been nolina sp. because it almost had square sided leaves. It was either the real thing or the pics I see in other peoples gardens are. Mine did not look like rostrata? 😕

Hi Aaron,

what month did your linearifolia look dead......december, january, etc..? I have a few seed grown Y. queretaroensis which look like linearifolia too. These are less hardy. I had one outside this winter and it's llikely a z8 plant.......it's already dead.
