Yucca aloifolia x elata? breaking dormancy

That crazy looking freak hybrid from Germany survived winter and it breaking dormancy. The people who found this Yucca in Germany don't know the exact parentage but it looks like the photo below......we think it's a Y. aloifolia x elata since the person who bought it said it was labeled Yucca aloifolia. This is a cool looking Yucca when mature.

Wow! It would be great if this hybrid survives winters better than the other Y. aloifolia at your place have!

Tim- That's a cool looking plant! Hopefully is will be fully hardy when it matures.

How is that Y. alofolia hybrid I sent you?

Paul.........the root is doing well........there appears to be a new growth point emerging now

Definitely this hybrid is on my wish list because I have problem with overwintering pure Y. aloifolia. Tim, keep us updated with your young one.
