My varigated gloriosa always die after they flower, but they always try to flower in the fall/late fall here. So I always have small ones that came up as suckers. I would love to see my gloriosa get over a foot tall. 🙄
I cant wait to see how tall yours will be next year. 😯

Yes, my Y. gloriosa variegata died to the ground after blooming too. Loads of suckers now. Mine did get a foot of trunk but that's because it too many years to bloom. Here's the bloom in 2008.
