Now, I know they can be Placed in the ground in here. I did notice Yucca Filamentosa all over my Town in the woods. Now the ones am showing a Old Train Track used to be here. Who knows maybe from the south and these Seeds maybe dropped here on the way to some where. Once again am only making Reason why theses are here those.

nice filamentosa find for a zone 6a. It appears they are growing under trees............I assume they are located in mostly shade come summer time?

Most of the time I seen more off to the road as well... I think I have that photo on Facebook. Those yuccas for sure. The once buy the road are also in the shade as well. Am thinking of planting some Needle Palms up there as well. Just to see what would happen. Also to Fu*k with the parks workers a bit. even those they would say it was my doing. Which is probably going to be true.

I gave my brother some Sabal minor 'NE Texas' seedlings back in 2004+/- and they have been seeding all over his yard.....he's just outside Wash DC in Fairfax, VA. I wish I had that problem. 😀

Me too... Who knows Maybe Indiana maybe able to do that also. Climate is changing for a good for us.

I have seen wild Filamentosas here in southern illinois. They usually grow on hillsides or at the edge of the woods.
