I have not seen many Imbricata flowers-very pretty!

I was fortunate to arrive in time to watch this open...the anther(s) were popping up one at a time-I thought there was a bee in there at first..

This guy was truly spectacular! Little rainbow warrior was giving me the business at first -saying,stay away.

Great shots of those guys...good eye, they blend so well with the rocks.
Nice to see the desert blooming more and more after recent rain.

Amazing what you can see if you sit a while instead of riding by-

Yes it was, and what they did was illegal. All reptiles in AZ are protected and can only be taken with a hunting license. I don't think you can just kill them and let them lay.
