Hey All! Just got my beaver crek order for this spring, and MAN do the plant look GOOD! I have to reccomend this compnay to anyone looking at starting a cactus bed, or interested in xeric plants at all!
Most of what I ordered are Opuntia (a few new basilaris (my favotire), polyacanthas with different flower colours, erinaceae...) and escobaria (missouriensis, organensis, sp. nova), but I also got a Yucca (kanabensis, which is an AMAZING blue colour), and an Echinocereus (triglochidiatus)...
Again, couldn't be happier with the size and health of these plants. Truly amazing. Easily the best mail-order plants of any type available in Canada!
Cheers,
Paul

Paul ... how'd you order? ... on line? If so, what's their web address?

Cheers, Barrie.

Sounds good, Paul.
How about some pics?

Is that yucca a trunking variety?

Hey Barb (and anyone else who cares) here are a few pics of the type of plants Beavercreek provides:

The blue thin is Yucca kanabensis, unfortunately, not trunking, but quite beautiful. The bluish Opuntia is basilaris v. brachy. And the Cylindropuntia is C. imbricata "White Tower", a white flowering imbricata (as opposed to the usual purple).
Here is a larger (though sideways) pic of the kanabensis:

Cheers,
Paul

Paul, those two links said "Forbidden"; wouldn't open.

I was impressed with how much they stock; I think I counted 45 varieties of Opuntia.
They don't have a lot of pics on their site.
Maybe send them some of your photos (once they're unlocked) 😆

Hey,
See the earlier post again. I edited the links so now they shouldn't say "Forbidden"
