Anyone ever try these to know how they hold up over the winter?

I have looked for ones like that for awhile now where is the source..ill be the first to try it. I don't see much differance in those and the huts jims makes. Maybe these are thinner but should work the same I would think. If there priced right id like to have a couple

At one time they were almost impossible to find as I looked after I saw Jim with one in a pic of his. Now, Ebay, Amazon or direct they are all over and in different sizes. Dome type and now pop up round cylinder type...(although those don't seem to have a way to vent heat)

I went ahead and ordered the smaller one (22 inches for $15) to see what it's like.

Right now for the smaller palms I have in the ground I've been using hard plastic industrial barrels cut in half with a 2x2ft piece of plexiglass laid over the top. Wife hates how they dot the yard and don't look good. At least these dome type coverings don't look as bad. We'll see....

Think I might try the spiral ones. I refuse to heat the huts so no concern about venting heat..mulch and a umbrella is all there gunna get out of me in the winter
