The one you gave me, I was wondering if I should really repot as I like my palms to be sort of rootbound so they get all the nutrients ( I give "Peter's" 20-20-20 about every 7-8 days and some "Superthrive").
But after doing a little research, EVERY article tells me to give it a big pot for the "aggresive tap root".
When I pulled the palm out and there is a very aggresive tap root on that baby.
Thanks for the heads-up cause otherwise, I would not have potted up. BTW, I did do a 5 gallon pot. I mixed "Miracle Grow Potting soil" @ 4 parts, 3 year old cow manure @3 parts, "Miracle Grow Organic Soil" @ 3 parts, and Perlite @ 4 parts. Watered in, water seeped & drained GREAT so I hope we have a winner.
Also, by the sounds of it, this is a VERY rare palm and an ever HARDER seed to pop. So if you popped it, you are THE MAN!!
