Seems to have slowed down in our recent heatwave.
Look at nature's artwork on the unfurling leaves...I'm always awed by this:

Nice shots, Barb. It is always quite a process to see a cycad's soft flushes turn into spiky fronds

The nice thing about C.debaoensis is that it NEVER becomes spiky, remaining soft and pliable.
