New plants
I thought id share some of my new and newish plants
As of now I have 3 Yucca rostrata, 2 Agave parryi var. parryi, 1 Agave americana, 2 Giant Reed "Golden Ribbons", 1 Passiflora caerulea, 2 Southern Magnolias, and Mimosa "Summer Chocolate" it's dormant though, but its got some buds that are swelling, and I have a mess of hardy cactus cuttings, going in my cacti garden when I get around to working on it. Also not pictured picked up 2 Rhododendrons one is lavender pink, and the other has red flowers forgot the names , and 1 Chicago hardy Fig. Whoh lol I am going to try to avoid garden centers and ebay now, I think im done buying plants for a while, lol.

You got a lot of 'goodies'. I bet rostratas will be much larger by the end of the season.

Great pics! Have you considered trying P. incarnata? It should be hardy in your zone.

Nice score bryce!
P. Cerulea is said to be able to take zone 5, with a deep multch, and well drained, organic soil. P Incarnata is native to most of th eastern states, all the way up to Ohio, and some sources state S Ontario. They can grow back in zone 4 with proper protection.
The Mimosa is called a "notrogen fixer". They have a symbiotic relationship with soil bacteria, which pulls in nitrogen from the tree roots (which the tree takes in from the air), and puts it in the soil. IT puts some N2 intot he soil, but puts way more into the soil at leaf fall. IT should help some plants and trees around it. Just make sure its away from the fig, they dont need that much N2!!
