I bought this Dracaena off the local buy and sell. The guy had to give it a new home as his garage only had 8ft ceilings. I measured it at 9ft plus. He said it is 5 years old. Not bad for $60.00. It now has a good home 8).

Jesse that`s what I thought. It looks very similar to a cordyline. The difference is the leaves are fatter and shorter and is much less cold hardy.

http://www.habitas.org.uk/gardenflora/cordind.htm This cordyline is an almost exact copy of the Dracaena loureiri.

I was trying to find pics of the trunks. That seems to be the only difference that I can tell (im no expert obviously). I cant find pics of Drecaena, close enough to see the trunk, but if you look up cordyline indivisa/australius, the trunks on yours, and the cordy pics are similar IMO.

Sry if im wrong, I just know that Drecaena/Cordyline always get mixed up in trade...
