Can some one PLEASE id this....

My mom grabbed a piece of a tree today. She decribed where it is, and i never noticed it before, and cant think ive ever seen it anywhere else. the leaves are cool, the flowers are cooler, and the tree is huge.

I've seen a native plant here that resembles it, but can't remember the name.

This mobile app for tree ID might come in handy if it included palms for the rest of us :lol:
