Yucca rostrata "Sapphire Skies" (24 ounce size)
I'm a happy woman! Yesterday my order from Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina arrived.
Excellent packaging and paperwork. I did not have an import permit, and the agriculture inspection passed. UPS got the
parcel here in 3 days. Paid $11.60 GST on arrival. Shipping costs will be added to my card next week.
Great friendly customer support through their email contact.

Barrie, The nursery's website indicated that Sapphire Skies (blue beaked yucca) was even more blue than rostrata.

I think I'll grow these on in pots for a year or two before I risk setting them out in winter in an area sheltered from ice/snow and northwest winds. Or maybe I'll chicken out (like always ) and store them in the garage for winter.
Lining them up as patio pots for summer might look nice.
They prefer fast draining alkaline soil...that's native here.
John, I don't know enough about yucca; glad the roots look good.
Any recommendations on fertilizer type?

I doubt it would've gone that smoothly if I was trying to bring them home via car.
Plant Delights Nursery in N.Carolina obviously crossed all their "t's" and dotted all their "i's".
Canada Customs/CFIA wouldn't hassle a reputable nursery when all the paperwork/phyto is intact.
Once the freight charges are added to my card, I'll be able to figure out how much each of these six plants cost me.
Or maybe I shouldn't even look.

They are a good company, just a little spendy.
Nice looking yuccas! Do they look bluer than a normal rostrata to you? I thought about buying one. But not sure if the color would be all that better?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Look at the growth on Y.rostrata Sapphire Skies!!!
Got these 10 days ago.
Must like our blistering heat and the 7.2 native soil mix.
Full sun all day, barely a cup of water each once a week.
The new growth comes out in a spiral pattern.
