Hi all,

I have a triple marurelli in a pot. I have no room to bring this plant in for the winter so I would like to store it with my bajsoos in the garage this year. My question is should I let it get frosted before putting it in or just cut it back and place it in the garage? Thanks

Part two of your question is the answer ... cut it back before frost is forcast & bring it into your garage.

Cheers, Barrie.

I cut my Ensete ventricosum 'Maurellii' back to just a stump yesterday. The frost from the previous night wilted the leaves. It's now wrapped in a 1" layer of foam rubber and I'll build an insulated plywood box for it later to replace the temporary foam rubber covering.

Cheers, Barrie.

"GREAT GOOGLEY MOOGLEY" ... haven't heard that one since the Zappa days!
