A small grouping

I have a small area that has several things planted near a stand of Phyllostachys vivax. I have a half acre to work with, a ton of plants and it's hard to know where to set things in. I always seem to second guess myself and therefore I've had plants in pots that should have been planted 5 years ago. Some of that plant material is slated for a large terraced area in my front garden.

That is a nice bunch of palms you have there

It looks like your jubea has recovered from the winter damage.
All of my palms came back nicely and all have produced new spears.

Wes. My Jubaea chilensis is in a serious state of decline. NO new growth, toasty center spear, and several of the newest fronds as well. The pinnate palm in the above photo is Phoenix canariensis in and area out back.

Yes I see now that is a CIDP.
Too bad about the Jubaea. Let's hope the warmer weather will bring it back. Your C. humilis looks good. Mine have fully recovered and you would never know that the centre spear pulled on most of the trunks.
