Is my Musa going to be OK?

Post by tropical_niagara » Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:38 pm

This plant took a beating last week in our heavy winds ..... now the old and new leaves have brown spots on them. Is this plant going to be ok?
I know the season is almost over, so I will not be too worried, as long as the plant will come back better than ever next year.

I am going to store the Musa indoors (in my cold cellar) over the winter. I plan to cut all the leaves off once they die off. I just hope this isn't the start of a final decline for this plant.

Have a look at the photos and let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Chris

It will be just fine. Some warm weather, water, and a few new leaves and you'll never know.
It looks better than some bananas I have had shipped to me.
Thanks,
