50cm of soil versus using the top 5 cm...hmm, that's interesting, John.

Hopefully the public continues pressure on government to compel labelling of GMO (in any food content).
And not hidden behind such ludicrous descriptions as "natural flavors"...nothing natural about lab-concocted food.

Monsanto is probably already working on a law to make
using anythng but their stuff illegal. :) :shock:

Jim Monsanto aka. the most evil corporation on the planet.People are waking up to their BS. Barb this agricultural minister in Australia is one tough guy 8) and deserves praise for standing up to Monsanto. Agreed on the labeling of GMO.

Lobbying by Monsanto prevents governments from doing what the public wants, which is GMO labelling on all food products.
No matter how small/minimal the GMO ingredient is in the total product.

I say let the public decide whether they want to eat that stuff.
Multinational deciding for us? ya right.

Thank goodness for the Australian.
And thank goodness the entire European zone doesn't allow GMOs in.

Yeah, I recall the TV story on their lawsuit against the Saskatchewan farmer whose cropfield was contaminated.
Monsanto contaminated his crop, yet Monsanto won the lawsuit because they convinced the judge HIS crop was screwing up their GMO field crop!
The poor old guy.

Judges bought and paid for.
