Does anyone know if claret cup cacti need to be fertilized. Mine are in about 66% gravel and 33% sand. They don't seem to grow much. One seems to be making offshoots but then they don't get any bigger. I thought it was because I keep transplanting it but I'm not sure.
Here's a pic

They can take time to get bigger, but yes you can give them fertilizer.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

You may not want to fertilize this late as growth will be tender and will not have time to harden off.
I like to fertilize once in the spring..some respond better than other-like Cereus Peruvianus!
