When I moved to calgary a few years back, my sister told me to go visit the devonian gardans in the 8th ave mall. Something like 2 acres of indoor tropical plants They ended up closing it down for a 30 million dollar reno, and its only just reopened. The place is amazing

Wow, who knew?
Now there's a bunch of folks that had a wonderful vision, way back in the early 1900s, because of a love of horticulture.
Glad the usual comments of "that's not native to here" weren't part of the story 'coz those comments are so stupid.
What a wonderful respite from Calgary's typical brutal winters.
Gorgeous structure.
Why can't/won't more cities do this?
If my city ever grows some foresight, I have lots of plants to offer.
By the way, Kelsey is the best thing that has happened to the Weather Network in years.
Thanks Jesse.
