You are right. I will let you test the hardiness later on and report back to me!

They have been a lot fast for you if they are only 14-16 months old. I germinated my seeds during late summer 2010 and they are just putting out the first split leaf (as yours seem to do as well). Are you growing them through out the winter?

Btw, 3 leaves since february is really impressive indeed, I wish I could have your long hot summers.

Maybe upper 20s ONLY but I think the thermocube or sensor could be off-accuracy).


They both have seen at least low 20s out of the protection and I do not recall the exact temp
last fall(there were many blown forecasts-thats why I am fresh out of T.ferns )but I do know
it was 18F at the airport one night-thats why they started the year with no leaves-LOL


But ma nature took care of that.
