Some Vegas pics 2011
Was in Las Vegas about three weeks ago. Have a few pics.
Sorry didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to.
It was so hot in Vegas this building melted.
Palms by the pool.

Awesome! Hope you did more than just look at palms!
For everyone who called me crazy for saying that Trachies aren't pretty, check out the little guys in the picture 3rd from the bottom!

Thanks Jay!
Have you checked out Red Rock Canyon just west of the city. Very cool rock formations, not to mention J-Tree, bacatta and mojave yucca forests!

They're not pretty in Vegas, that's for sure. Trachies aren't down with the summer blaze of the Mojave. The only palm that looks better in Canada !Paul Ont wrote:

Ah, eye candy, Jay.
Tend to agree that Trachies are gorgeous, but only if there aren't other species like Washy or Jubea or Sabals or CIDP nearby.
Thanks Jay.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
