Wes, go to the Palm Trees of B.C. site and you will see a pic. of my wife standing between both of them. I took the pic. a few days ago. They are fair size palms. palmtrees.cybersites.ca/gallery

Crated Brahea edulis

Post by banana joe » Thu Oct 19, 2006 4:11 pm

The crates are custom made to make the root systems easier to over winter. The palms are actually bagged sitting inside those crates then sawdust is packed around them for insulation. With the crate on they are $450 plus tax and without the crates only $420 plus tax. They are nice palms. I'm trying to convince Grace Point to snap one up. Shaw Cable Television spent nearly an hour and a half filming my garden today. I made sure they got those Brahea in there as well. Free advertising. Cheers, Joe
