Golden or Green Maylan Coconuts
Which seems to be the hardiest.
Well my green fried its leaves with just a few hours of 40* temperatures,but didn't phase the golden,or the giant bird of paradise,triangle palm,sorry about the pics,the sun had gone down already had to use a flash.

too bad about the coconut..... But now you know right??
Thats good about the rest of them..... they dont tlook to shabby.. BOP can take some good frost apperanlty

Maybe the golden can handle colder roots than the green mayan.
Fronds weren't touching the panels?
I bet it'll come back this summer on the patio with some serious heat, after all the growing point is tucked away in the center.
Those old leaves would've been cut off in a year or two anyway.
BoP new leaf is perfect, I cut off all my fried BoP leaves...forgot it would leave a big gaping hole in each stem

Garlic helps lots of plants. Your supposed to plant garlic by your roses to keep em healthy ( im assuming it keeps bugs away)..
