cordyline Australis?

Post by yuccaman » Sun Apr 02, 2006 7:13 am

I think the last photo could be a cordyline like a cabbage palm or tree but its not a palm. They are native to new zealand or australia. Correct me if im wrong :) I know they are native in your area.

Post by Ianmc » Sun Apr 02, 2006 12:15 pm

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

They have the same look?

Post by yuccaman » Sun Apr 02, 2006 4:53 pm

I know that cordylines and Furcraea roezlii have almost the same look. I know that they are both native in new zealand. Its sometimes hard to tell. They are not that hardy. They are like a yucca but weaker and takes less frost.
