My project is to get this cleaned up and a little more presentable. I have been neglecting the area since last year.

I'm in zone 8b. I know not exactly Palms North! :lol:

Ya ... the old zone thing. I'm in zone 8b (Pacific coastal marine) and it doesn't compare to central Texas at all, yet we're lumped in it together with the USDA zone system.
Very nice Dean :D . I'll bet those Sabal minor are quite happy (as is everything else) in your garden by the look of things. The Cycas revoluta is impressive. Do you know what type of banana you have?

Barrie, thanks, I don't know what kind of bananas they are. I got them on Craig's List for $20. As for everything else in the garden it requires alot of water. We haven't had that much rain this summer.
