How did the bitter apple spray work?

I bought some to keep my great dane out of the trash, but I think he liked it.
It has since been tossed in the trash, but will get more if it worked.

Indoor growing enclosure

Hey everyone, I was going to take several of my bananas to the local green house to overwinter and keep them growing, however they are limited on space. SO I have been thinking about building a pvc enclosure in my garage covering it with plastic and adding a 1000watt HID lighting system. I may add a...

Sounds great. Just let me know about a week before, so I make sure I am in town.

The bamboo is fantastic. I can't wait until next year when mine will shoot again. I will have to post a few pics of mine now, each plant has 4-6 rhizomes that I can see at the surface heading in all directions! woohoo!

Hey AP,

I thought SDC as juveniles had leaves with some reddish-purple splotches, and I thought they had a wax on the pseudostem. I have no-idea what they are, just that they are different than my Dwarf cavendish.

That planter is quite the job. Can you post a pic when the plants are in. I understand the amount of work involved. I have been working on a raised flower bed that is triangular and about 16' long and 3' wide at one end and 16' wide at the other. It has kept me busy working at it, but is almost fin...

Hey Kansas, Only a few spiders we have to worry about in Kansas, the brown recluse and the black widow. I have seen both in Johnson County, but Lawrence has some for the largest browns I have ever seen. As far as the green house I would leave most. I agree with oppalm about spiders and respect. BTW ...
